Artist Statement
The cottonwood trees with their long shadows, the gathering thunder clouds, the high snow-patterned mountain peaks, the golden wheat fields, the meandering rivers that carve the land -- all are forces that extend through the artists hand. This is why an exact replica of a scene is not necessary to accurately copy. It's already there! Why not create your own? These images represent humanities cooperation with nature -- "the good, the true and the beautiful" -- the ideal by which life will proceed to follow humanity's vision.
